Welcome to Journeys!
We’re so glad you’re considering Journeys Lutheran School for your child. We know this is a big decision so our enrollment process is designed to be personal, supportive, and informative so you can confidently determine if Journeys is the right fit for your family.
A few things to note:
We accept students starting in 3rd grade through 21 years of age.
Journeys is affiliated with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, but we accept students regardless of their faith or religious practices
Ready to Start the Application Process?
Step 1: Schedule a School Tour
All prospective families begin with a school tour. This gives you the opportunity to see our classrooms, meet our team, and experience the Journeys environment firsthand.
Students are welcome to attend the tour with their guardian, but attendance is not required.
After your tour, you’ll have a brief meeting with our Head of School, Jenny Stollenwerk, to answer any remaining questions and discuss next steps.
Step 2: Complete an Application (optional)
If you prefer to get started early, you’re welcome to complete an application in advance. You may print and bring the completed application with you to your tour. If not completed in advance you will receive one as part of your tour.
Step 3: Tuition Assistance & Funding Options
We work closely with families to explore financial options and make Journeys accessible.
Most students with an up-to-date IEP qualify for Special Needs Scholarship Program (SNSP). Applications open in July.
Students who do not qualify for SNSP may be eligible for MPCP (Milwaukee Parental Choice Program) funding. Applications for these programs open in February.
Students who do not qualify for either of the programs listed above should contact us to discuss individual financial planning options.
